what? this is your only song?

i hope you'll make more

Canas responds:

of course! I've got a new song on the way, probably wrap it up in a weeks time or so, keep your bananas peeled!

I feel like this song could be more romantic with bongos instead of drums, the drums you have here kills the mood :(

skyood responds:

While I think I know what you mean, I feel like bongos wouldn't create a change of intensity, which would basically totally change the song. This different song wouldn't necessarily be bad, but it wouldn't be this one ... and this is the one I wrote. :)

If you're looking for something in particular and having trouble finding it, maybe I can try to work something up for you from scratch. :D

This song is the tits!

when navigating through the Newgrounds audio portal, i look specifically for songs like this, that have creativity and imagination to it, unlike all of the other stuff. i love the melody, and the way you mixed the voice to the tune really inspired me, though, i don't understand the vocals or why they are there, it may have been better in my opinion to have not included them, but this doesn't decrease the quality of this song. over all, i enjoy this song :) it lifts my spirits

RazondE responds:

This song was inspired by the game grumps. Without their initial request then there would be no song. But thanks for the kind words. It means a lot.

Dat bass line :3

ulfusNG responds:

Thanks

will you please upload a version without the sound fx, they're fine at the beginning and the end.
But, during the whole song, it get's a bit annoying.

SoundChris responds:

Hey there,

thanks for your review! There is a non FX-Version, but i didn´t want to upload two versions of the track. If you want it just ask and i will send it per mail.

Best wishes

this song is just beautiful, i can tell while you were making it, you put things in a cinematic perspective just as it should be.
The song starts off mild, as if the character is just now setting out for an adventure, or battle. -then, the pace speeds up and there are so many options for this! whether he is struggling or fighting, or anything of that sort! then all of the sudden, it's over, and it's soft and relieving. The character's quest is over, he can return home.

Excellent job, This song is definitely a favorite :)

Zajed responds:

Indeed i tried to be as "trailerish" as possible but i didnt wanted to head for a big loud ending i guess it doesnt really fit in and i really tried to firce the cembalo in there.
Im still not satisfied with the choir though. My next piece is gonna be a bit more "professional"

wow it's lovely, i love the reverse symbol behind the snare, it gives it the extra force it needs!

and when that bass line came in, i knew this was going to be a good song! the xylophone was a very nice touch.

when the wobbles came in, it was kinda weak, but everything was put together nicely! fantastic job.

ktgen responds:

thanks alot for ur feedback. im gonna try and work on my wobbles a bit more and add more detail to try and make them more powerful

the reverb was alittle too much for me, it seems like you just set big reverb in the master mix..

i love the song though, great melody and a very groovy beat!~

ErikMcClure responds:

Almost everything had its own reverb, all of which was tweaked carefully.

the constant hi-hat that starts at 2:06 gets annoying after 5 seconds..., maybe if you mixed up the drum patterns a bit so it isn't so repetitive.

coleknows responds:

i noticed. Should of turned that down a tad bit /:

wow wow wowowowow!

this is the song you finally find after going through 500 other songs.
i am amazed.

DJ-Babokon responds:

Thank you!
